Leadership Mentoring
Overview

Lane's true passion is leadership mentoring. He wants to make a difference in the world by helping people become stronger leaders. Too many organizations are led by management teams that do not know how to effectively lead their employees, customers, and other stakeholders.

Lane's goal is to develop great leaders in organizations that have a real objective of creating significant successes. He knows that people will follow success.

The engagement generally starts with individual mentoring but leads to the whole leadership team.

Individual Mentoring

Lane's approach to leadership development involves a combination of mentoring you through developing your leadership plan, consulting on high impact elements that fit your personal and business circumstances, and then coaching you in growing your leadership capability.  This is done on a highly selective basis of senior managers.

The leadership sessions take approximately two hours each.  Normally, there are three to four sessions depending on the leaders' situation and maturity. There is a fee per session.  The Leadership Development Plan is an evergreen document and clients may request ongoing mentoring/consulting in executing their plan.

Team Mentoring

Lane provides mentoring to a leader and his/her senior team.  By developing leadership plans for each member, this creates a team alignment by sharing the plans amongst the team.

The program is tailored to fit the particular situation and the leader's primary objectives.  This is a more streamlined process than individual mentoring.  Team based mentoring would generally follow after an individual mentoring program for the senior leader.

Leadership Development Presentation

Leadership development presentations are architected to fit the objectives of the leader and his/her particular organization.  These sessions are usually half day aimed at developing a common framework and perspective on leadership that fits the business challenges of the organization.  The groups can be small to mid-size.
